Course Overview


This course provides a general introduction to some of the principles, hardware and techniques used in process measurement and control.




To give non-instrument personnel a practical understanding of instrumentation.




At the end of the course you will be able to recognise and understand:

  • The operation of various level measurement techniques / instruments.
  • The operation of various flow and temperature measurement techniques.
  • The operation of various control valves, trims and their uses.
